While living in central London in the early 2000's I was given the opportunity to coordinate the schools minuscule IT area. I loved my position despite the job's frustrations of no budget and terrible existing hardware. With the enlistment of talented parents and colleagues, we got that Hammersmith school moving forward and I realized I had found a passion. Since returning to Adelaide in 2006 I have held the position of Learning Technologies at Ardtornish Primary School (about 500 students). The school has gone from CRT filled rooms that rarely worked to a Google for Education School where every child from Year 1 up uses their Google account. With 90% used/booked computer suite, R -3 iPad program and 4-7, 1 to 1 Chromebooks I now work with a team of teachers to change the way we teach.
