Pedagogical trends are shifting towards Digital learning technologies that allow for the customisation of learning experiences for the range of students within a standard classroom. Currently, there is an abundance of redundant, inefficient uses of technology. Streamlining assessment and focusing on effective, immediate feedback for learning is a key consideration when designing and implementing a purposeful use of technology in the classroom. Discover how to support students in higher-order thinking tasks and allow for the creation of learnings tasks that were previously inconceivable and addressed the question of; “is this technology making my tasks better?” The intention is to use technology that converges both classic and 21st-century learning skills. This workshop will be an interactive session that displays and instructs creating online, student-driven learning tools to complement teacher consolidation of content.
