Leading a Digital School Conference 2019

Learning must be real, kids need to see the why's and how's of where their learning relates to the real world. Incorporating real-world concepts, scenarios and collaborative working environments are now possible across many areas. Because of the combination of realistic simulations, simple apps, single sign-on websites and accessible media and printing technologies: authentic learning experiences are easier than ever. I want to guide you through the way we are crossing the curriculum and incorporating multiple subjects in tasks that engage students to go deeper. I will share apps, websites, spreadsheets, activities, concept maps and assessments that are already successfully working within our classrooms. We use cloud-based learning, 1 to 1 Chromebooks, Minecraft, CAD, Email correspondence and Financial planning. Primary school never looked so professional.
