This hands-on workshop features case study examples from research in 14 primary schools (K-6) that used the pedagogical framework of High Possibility Classrooms (HPC) to build teacher capacity in the STEM disciplines. Frequently teachers in the 10 week to 18 month long studies enacted the STEM disciplines to also include deep engagement with the Arts and Humanities. Participants in this session will engage with the conceptions and themes in the HPC framework and then prototype their understanding to develop an integrated unit of work in STEM and/or STEAM suited to their context.
